SBG Names Allison Aldridge General Manager of WACH-TV in Columbia, South Carolina

SINCLAIR NAMES ALLISON ALDRIDGE GENERAL MANAGER OF WACH-TV IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA

Baltimore (December 2, 2013) – Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Allison Aldridge has been named General Manager of WACH-TV (FOX 48) in Columbia, South Carolina. The announcement was made by Steve Pruett, Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair’s television group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Pruett said, “We are pleased to have Allison re-join Sinclair. She is not only a native of Columbia, SC, but also worked at WACH earlier in her broadcasting career. We look forward to building upon her knowledge of the market, her relationship with viewers and local businesses, and her sales background.”

Ms. Aldridge most recently and from 2013 assisted Sinclair with newly acquired station operations. From 2008 to 2010, she was General Manager of Sinclair’s station, WMMP (MNT), in Charleston, South Carolina, where she also had oversight for WTAT (FOX). From 2001 to 2007, she served in various sales capacities at the same stations, including General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Account Executive. Prior to that and from 1999, Ms. Aldridge was an Account Executive for WACH in Columbia, SC. Ms. Aldridge has a Bachelor or Arts degree in speech and communications from Clemson University.
