Fan Experience Kicks off 10/17 on Twitch, Continuing
Until Halloween
with a Special Presentation of the Critically
Acclaimed Buffy the Musical Episode
Baltimore, MD – October 12, 2022 –
Sinclair Broadcast Group (NASDAQ: SBGI) announced COMET,
the free over-the-air broadcast network for sci-fi fans, will host a series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer watch parties on Twitch, the interactive livestreaming service. The watch parties will be available
for fans to join for free each Monday during the month of October, beginning on
the 17th, from 6:30p – 8:30p ET.
The
Twitch watch parties will be hosted by Buffy the Vampire Slayer
superfans and include a 30-minute pre-show (6:30p ET) followed by a 30-minute
post-show (8:30-9p ET). In addition to the Twitch streamers and fan
interaction, there will be surprise guests stopping by for a Q&A discussion
about the show, and insider info on that week’s episode.

The Vampire Slayer airs on COMET every weeknight at 7p
ET and has delivered a 21% increase in
primetime ratings since its June premiere on the network,*
The Twitch fan experience will culminate on Halloween, the
network’s 7th anniversary,
with a special airing of the series’ musical episode “Once More, with Feeling”
and an appearance by James Marsters, who starred as Spike in the long
running hit network series.
