Sinclair names Terry Gaughan General manager of WCGV-TV and WVTV-TV in Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (March 7, 2013) – Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Terry Gaughan has been named General Manager for WCGV-TV (My 24) and WVTV-TV (CW 18) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The announcement was made by Steve Marks, Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair Television Group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Marks said, “We are excited to have Terry re-join the Company. He is familiar with the stations, having served as their General Manager years ago. We believe his knowledge of the Milwaukee community can only help to advance meeting their needs.”

“I am delighted to be back in Milwaukee and at WCGV and WVTV”, commented Mr. Gaughan. “This is an exciting time for our stations, especially with our upcoming relocation to Calumet Road. I believe that there is much the stations have to offer the local community, and I look forward to working with the staff to achieve that goal”.

Mr. Gaughan most recently held the position of Vice President of National Sales at Univision from 2002 through 2011. Prior to that and from 2000, he was Network Account Executive at Fox Cable Networks. From 1998 to 2000, he served as National Account Executive at ESPN Regional TV. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Gaughan worked at Sinclair in various roles including General Manager of WVTV and WCGV, and National Sales Manager at WPGH. Prior to that, he was a National Sales Manager at Katz Communications. Mr. Gaughan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Loyola University of Chicago.
