SBG Names Greg Conner General Manager of WXLV-TV and WMYV-TV in Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem, NC

SINCLAIR NAMES GREG CONNER GENERAL MANAGER OF WXLV-TV AND WMYV-TV IN GREENSBORO-HIGH POINT-WINSTON SALEM, NC
Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem, NC (June 16, 2014) – Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Greg Conner has been named General Manager of WXLV-TV (ABC) and WMYV-TV (MY) in the Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem, North Carolina market. The announcement was made by Steve Marks, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair’s television group.
In making the announcement, Mr. Marks said, “Greg has proven himself to be a strong leader, manager and salesperson and has a consistent track record of training, managing and motivating his teams to achieve or exceed their goals throughout his 18 years in media. We are excited to have him join the team in Greensboro.”

Mr. Conner has worked for Sinclair for the past 14 years, most recently as the Director of Sales for KVCW (CW) and KVMY (MY) in Las Vegas, Nevada. From 2004 to 2011, he was the Local Sales Manager at Sinclair’s stations, WLOS (ABC) and WMYA (MY) in Asheville, North Carolina / Greenville, South Carolina. Prior to that he was an Account Executive for these stations. From 1995 to 2000, he held various positions at the Asheville Citizen-Times including Auto Sales Manager and Retail Sales Representative. Mr. Conner graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Flight Technology from Florida Institute of Technology.
