Sinclair Supports Development of ReportaPro App for Journalists

Baltimore, MD – In support of a press release issued today by the International Women’s Media Foundation (“IWMF”), announcing the release of Reporta, a free mobile security app for journalists, the following statement can be attributed to Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) Vice President for News, Scott Livingston:

“We are excited about the release of the Reporta app for journalists. It should go a long way to protect the personal safety of reporters in the field abroad, but also here at home in the U.S., where the safety of field reporters has become a topic of increasing concern. We are proud to be partnering with ABC News to support IWMF’s development of ReportaPro, a platform which will enable media organizations to use Reporta on a scalable basis. We look forward to its future launch.”
