HUNT VALLEY, Md. — March 2, 2026 — Sinclair today announced the premiere of Dead Silence: The Casey Pitzer Investigation, an original one-hour investigative documentary from Criminally Obsessed, the company’s rapidly growing true crime content vertical. The film revisits the mysterious death of 32-year-old Casey Pitzer in a small Ohio town, a case originally ruled an accident despite missing evidence, conflicting witness accounts, and lingering unanswered questions.
Dead Silence: The Casey Pitzer Investigation is produced under the Criminally Obsessed banner, which unites millions of armchair detectives with breaking stories, original investigations, and true crime content, powered by Sinclair’s network of local reporters and investigative journalists.
The 60-minute special will air on Saturday, March 7, at 7 pm across Sinclair stations in Ohio: Cincinnati WKRC / Local 12, Columbus WSYX / ABC 6 and Dayton WKEF / ABC 22. Dead Silence will also be available on Criminally Obsessed’s YouTube Channel.
