(Nasdaq: SBGI) announced today that the Company received notice from the International Union, UAW and its local union number 1811 “disclaiming interest” in representing Sinclair employees that provide services to WEYI-TV (NBC 25). The union had represented nearly 30 employees providing services to the station and was in the middle of a two year contract agreed upon by both parties when the union notified Sinclair on June 6, 2016 that they would no longer represent the employees.
