WPEC CBS12'S Florida Gubernatorial Debate, Rescheduled for October 24, Secures Statewide Distribution

West Palm Beach, FL – October 10, 2022
WPEC CBS12, Sinclair Broadcast Group’s West Palm Beach television station,
WPEC CBS12, today
announced the rescheduled date for its
upcoming Gubernatorial debate, now taking place on October 24.

In the wake of
Hurricane Ian, WPEC CBS12 postponed
the Gubernatorial Debate. Originally scheduled for October 12,
the debate will now take place on
October 24 at 7 p.m. ET

Additionally, WPEC CBS 12 has secured statewide
distribution of the debate through
agreements with broadcasters across the state of Florida, to ensure
the debate between Governor Ron DeSantis and challenger Charlie Crist is available
to voters statewide.

The debate will be
held at the Sunrise Theater in Fort Pierce, FL at 7 p.m., ET.
WPEC’s Emmy-award winning anchor, Liz Quirantes, will moderate,
asking the candidates about the most important issues in the state of Florida.
